DELETE /customers/:id

Delete a customer by its UUID. Scoped to the org bound to your API key. A customer owned by a different org returns 404.

The delete cascades to every account the customer owns: fiat, crypto, and any pending account-creation requests are deleted in the same transaction. The customer and its accounts are retained for audit but no longer appear on any read endpoint. This applies to both individuals (KYC) and businesses (KYB).

Response 204

No content. The customer and all of its accounts have been deleted.

Errors

  • 404: unknown id, or scoped to a different org.
  • 409: the customer has an order that has not reached a terminal state. The cascade is refused while any order is in flight. Wait for it to complete, fail, or cancel, then retry.
